The Whitby Bookshop has stood at 88 Church Street, Whitby, for over 25 years, and in that time it has thrived. We pride ourselves on the staff's combined knowledge of books new and old, and we are always willing to go the extra mile for our customers.

As an independently-run book shop, we are able to carry a wide and varied range of books, and on our shelves current bestsellers sit side-by-side with more unusual hand-picked titles personally recommended by our staff. We are spread over five rooms on two floors, and besides books we also stock a wide range of cards, Naxos CDs and book-related gifts.
